Gilroy Wireless

The Wireless Hotspot is a free wireless internet connectivity service for the downtown corridor. The service, known as "Gilroy Wireless," is an open public network which will provide a free "Hotspot" for all WiFi enabled computers to gain access to the internet, check e-mail, and allow connectivity for business users to access their many company resources via Virtual Private Network (VPN). The wireless service is unsecured, and first-time user authentication which requires the user’s e-mail address is necessary.
