The City of Gilroy has updated the Utilities & Traffic Facilities Fee Study, October 2004. The report summarizes an analysis of the need for public facilities and capital improvements to support future development within the City of Gilroy through 2038. It is the City's intent that the costs representing future development's share of these facilities and improvements be imposed on that development in the form of a development impact fee, also known as a public facilities fee.
