Participate in the Bench Plaque Program
"Say it with a plaque - Honor, Memorialize, Recognize"

The Bench Plaque Program places durable zinc, bronze-finished plaques on current and future benches throughout the City of Gilroy. Benches are located in Historic Downtown Gilroy and the Gilroy Library Patio. Each plaque may include names, dates and short phrases.

Applications
Applications for a bench plaque are available at the City of Gilroy Recreation Department. Once a completed application has been submitted to the Recreation Department, a staff member will contact you to make the final arrangements.

Plaque Specifications

  • Size: 2-by-10 inches
  • Maximum Number of Lines: 4
  • Letters / Spaces per Line: Up to 55
  • Required Donation: $550
All profits will be used entirely to support local public art projects.
