The City of Gilroy is recruiting to fill volunteer opportunities on various Boards/Committees/Commissions.
Application Deadline: Friday, December 17, 2021 at 5 p.m.
Interviews with City Council: Monday, January 24, 2022 @ 6 p.m.
Appointment Decisions by Council: Monday, February 7, 2022

Arts & Culture Commission – 4 seats
Bicycle Pedestrian Commission - 1 seat
Historic Heritage Committee – 2 seats
Library Commission – 1 seat
Open Government Commission - 1 seat
Parks & Recreation Commission – 2 seats
Personnel Commission – 2 seats
Physically Challenged Board of Appeals – 2 seats
Planning Commission – 2 seats

The City of Gilroy has a number of advisory bodies, each with distinct responsibilities. The primary purpose of these advisory bodies is to gather information, weigh public input, and examine issues in depth to render a recommendation to the City Council and the City Administrator.
